Montclair, CA Rings in the New Year with LAMA!
The City of Montclair, CA launched into 2020 with The Davenport Group’s LAMA software to support their permitting, planning, and code compliance functions. From the onset of the project, a focus for the City was software that provides a modern and fully integrated system capable of processing, tracking, and streamlining permits and code incidents along with having full mobile capabilities—all which LAMA accomplished. “We are pleased with the Davenport LAMA system, especially with the support after implementation. We look forward to a long partnership together,” said John Nguyen, Information Technology Manager.

The project demonstrated The Davenport’s Group ability to evaluate an existing system and put together solid new ideas for handling fairly complex processes. “We worked with the City to redesign their permitting workflow, making the process more efficient and user friendly from both the citizen’s and staff’s point of view,” stated Molly Booth, Project Manager. In addition, the planning module incorporates detailed workflow iterations to efficiently handle the State of California CEQA processes.
The City of Montclair is located off the I-10 travel corridor in the thriving Inland Empire area of Southern California. The City is poised for future growth and significant investment as Montclair is the eastern terminus of the planned extension of the Foothill Gold Line Light Rail Service.
